hello Roger
how are you?
i like the experimental crop, i have tried earlier on one of my shot, but it did not work for many...
but i like the placement the forehead crop and the conversion
light is eye catching and so the sharpness
well shot

regards
Manuj Mehta

Hi Roger
Nice B&W tones. I like the tight crop but might have provided a little more space at top (might be personal taste :))

Good use of white b/g

Nice capture!

Hello, Roger -
The lighting on Karim is fantastic to bring out texture of his face. Really like the way you cropped this - including the top of his head or his ear would have been superfluous. Very sharp details from your 50mm lens. Another excellent portrait - well done!

Hi Roger,
I was not very active on TL last time, so I missed a lot of your beautiful B/W portraits.
This one is really well done! The crop is very effective emphasizing his smile and glance and the white BG reinforce the quality of the gray tones.
Very good details on his skin.
Bravo! Annie
