Hi Robert,

Beautiful grey scene, the ice is twice as cold in B&W, a good choice for this very well composed photo. I can almost hear the ice crunch.

Fantastique B&W! La conversion est réellement faite avec brio! On y retrouve toute la gamme des gris entre le noir et le blanc. De plus, la composition est très équilibrée avec une netteté sans faille. J'aime beaucoup les textures de la glace brisée en avant-plan. Ton petit PS Pro 1 livre vraiment la marchandise. Bravo! At least the title is original. :) I think you made an excellent choice in B&W. This looks scary to me Robert. I just couldn't do it. You're a brave man.

A very nice tribute to the first Gold Metal of the Netherlands. The games are great, and I hope to watch some of them. I missed the opening ceremony. :(

Hi Robert,
A great black and white photo with superb contrast and sharpness. It really allows me to concentrate on the details and have no distraction from any bright color.
I like the moment you have frozen a lot. It shows the movement of the boat with the ice building up on the port side of the boat.

As a Dutchmen, I would like to thank you for the dedication of this photo to 'our' Sven Kramer. It was a epic race to see and a wonderful victory for Sven. Let's hope the 10K will be kind to him as well.

Good to see your post! Excellent winter scene perfect sharpness, brightness and contrast. The dull grey sky enhances the details of both ships. The presentation in the bolt white frame is awesome.

also very impressive in black/white - but I love the sunny coloured shots more.
I'm always astonished how such a small ship can break the ice, we can see it here very well, that's fantastic.

Très belle présentation en n et b, composition en mouvement. J'ai fais un atelier car je ne suis pas certain du noms des bateaux !.. (°U°) .....et en même temps j'ai un petit ajustement de HDR, je ne suis plus capable d'arrêtter l'utilisation de hdr....je pense que je suis devenu acro!!! Bonne semaine
