It is possible to get such pure colours only after the rain. Very curious, good technically photograph. The rainbow is adding additional colours for your image.
Races are interesting but I prefer the sea, large ships and small boats.

Hello Robert,

One of the sharpest posts on here today. For a shot taken from your car, it could easily be mistaken for a tripod captured image.
The moody light really adds something special to the overall image. The detail is pin sharp throughout and colours are perfectly balanced with not one hot spot.
Compositionally it can't be faulted, it's a fantastic capture and very well presented.

Bonjour Robert,
Je crois que c'est une de tes plus belle photos de bateaux à date!
Le point de vue avec le bateau qui semble avancer vers nous est spectaculaire...l'atmosphère avec ce ciel orageux et l'arc en ciel l'est tout autant.
Côté technique, tous les paramètres sont parfaitement contrôlés.

Une impressionnante lumière que tu nous montres ici. La brillance la lumière sur le bateau par rapport à l'eau et le ciel sombre détache le bateau à merveille. Et un bonus un ptit arc-en-ciel. Excellent point de vue, focus et exposition parfaites. Présentation sombre. Mille fois Bravo!

I like the contrast between the cloudy sky and a comparatively light color tones of the gigantic ship, Robert!
