[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Stephanie is a woman who is so beautiful that it is hard not to keep staring at her. Beyond her outward beauty is something else...some kind of combination of kindness, intelligence and gentleness. She is a lawyer in Canada and was the first person I ever did a photoshoot with two years ago.

Hi Roger,
Apart from the beauty of this clasic style lady, the photo of her made it even better. I love the warm light on her face and hair. You really captured the sparkle in her eye and made het become one with the lens.

Yes, I remember this Canadian beauty from some of your earlier shoots.
Fantastic light, and nice focus on her face, with the background (even her hair) softer. Beautiful.

Wow, what a beautiful portrait! She is indeed a pretty women, but the result is not only because of her looks and her charisma. The light is super and also the colours. Is this made outside or in a studio?

Well done, Roger.
This was a good start for you!!!!

Gorgeous lighting here Roger! Really, this works extremely well in color. I know most photos of people work well in BW, but this has a special addition, the BLUE hues behind her. Almost looks like a halo! Nice work!

Hi, Roger -
Her incredible face leaves a distinct impression and I remember it from your earlier postings. Her coloring is wonderful - the hair, eyes and skin make such an appealing combination. Great capture - the position of her hair imparts an energy of movement and you've captured her intense gaze with great sharpness, and you focused on the right places with the shallow DOF. Well done!

Hi Roger:
Excellent portraiture and the lady had really nice photogenic features and an intense look in her eyes,
Although it depends what your client want and this work is really good, but I have done aWS for smooth skin and just taking away some harch lights from the face...
but not a reflection on your splendid work!

Bonsoir Roger,

Usually people use a nice soft light for lady's portrait. Here I must admit with here nice facial features, that the hard light is giving very nice result, I like it. It gives some kind of brilliance that we don't have with diffused lighting. Excellent pose, good eyes contact. And I always prefered the 135mm to the 105 for head and shoulder portrait. I like the resulting perspective. For tight head shot, I like the 200 or the 300 but you need talkie walkie to direct you subject. (just kidding). Nice work and TFS.
