Here is another shot from my morning trek to get some fall colors yesterday morning. All that was done was to convert the shot to B&W, it was shot from the Bandshell stage to stay dry in case the rain started up again! I am finding that the sky is getting washed out on most shots and tried everything I can think of to minimized that from happening but nothing is working! |

A interesting black and white photo. The bench between the trees should be able to tell some stories of this place if it could talk.

Love the choice of black and white, the composition is spot on, the position of the bench is just right and great tones. Yeah, pretty good.
Your suffering from the same problem every photographer encounters. The dynamic range is just too great for the camera. You can either expose for the sky or the background, whichever can be adjusted best. Or you can bracket the shot, but very difficult to merge the images with a photo like this.
