|Stone tools to grind corn and spices seen in the archaeological site of Yagul, in southern Mexico.|
In Spanish are called metate and molcajete, from native words, but I do not know equivalent words in English.

Bom dia Pedro,
Excelente digitalização de uma magnífica foto com uma das heroinas da fotografia em papel, a Nikon N5005.
Muito tempo correu desde esses primitivos pilões.
I can taste the fresh corn tortilla on the fire as we speak. A very sharp and easy to define image of these tools. Thanks for sharing

I still see modern version of such stone in this part of the world.
Good collection and well preserved
Ciao Pedro, lovely composition with old stone tools, fine details, excellent clarity, splendid light and wonderful colors, very well done, my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio
Hi Pedro, Nice presentation of these stone tools of the old days. We sure do see modern version of these tools in nowadays store. Of course, they have been modified and machine made with better shape and texture. Good use of lights and perfect focus. Excellent angle taken with different perspectives. Thank for sharing
