|A cenote is a limestone sinkhole that can be found in the southern part of Mexico. It's filled with fresh water, and it's a photographer's paradise !|
I've spent half the time we were in the two cenotes (X'Keken and Dzitnup, near Valladolid) swimming between the fishes, and the other time taking lots of pictures.
It's there that I really learned to use the manual function of my camera - thanks to Pawel, a Polish photographer ; watch his pictures on http://gudej.acsweb.net/

The place certainly looks beautiful. The water has incredible colour and clarity, and looks so inviting. The composition is good with the roots (I presume) down the side and the sunray going diagonally across the frame. Nice use of the rule of thirds. What let's the photo down is the lack of focus (or perhaps camera movement given the exposure time). The exposure looks right though.

Beautiful place with fantastic nature light.
I like your shot but seem a bit blur and need more contrast.
