[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was the last day of vacation and it was a great week in Door County. I like this picture as it reflects the happiness of the time and the closeness of my sister and her daughter. This was taken in late morning sitting outside at Julie's Park Cafe. I liked the light on my sister's face.

Hello Pamela,
I really love this picture. Not only do I love it because it reminds me of how much my mother was a role model to me, but because both people in this picture both seem to have smiles that can light up a room.

The lighting is very beautiful on her face and hair, and nothing seems to be over exposed.
However, I think that a tighter crop would be interesting. Not necessarily better, but interesting. Most pictures like this do not get the attention they deserve because they aren't overloaded with color, post-processing, or a huge frame to make it "neat looking". But I do love photography like this, that is natural and very real.
I might do a workshop if you wouldn't mind just to try the crop out and maybe a frame.
Thank you for sharing and have a great week!
