|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is a House Sparrow.. adult, male, in transitional plumage.. and that's my balcony. |
Photograph taken on April 3, 2014. Still very cold (around 4 °C) then.. spring had just started. As you can see, my lovely guest needs some bathing! :p yup, he had not bathed for five to six months.. winter is horrible in New England.
Canon PowerShot SX40 HS. No tripod.
Thanks for viewing.

A very sharp image, well captured.
Possibly the bird is a little central, maybe some of the left hand side could have been cropped out. Just a thought...
Hello, Ruby. Lovely photograph of common bird, the, colors and composition looks really good. Presentation is also excellent and the transitional plumage of the bird looks really nice. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Ruby, a lovely sharp shot of the Sparrow.
Although a common little bird, when seen close up, he is a pretty little creature.
Tfs, regards Jean.
Hi Ruby, a nice clear and detailed shot with some light in his eye. He seems very intent on whatever has caught his attention. Fiona
Great bokeh creating a strong emphasis on your main subject. The sparrow is pinsharp showing its colora and natural tones exquisitely. It seems to be eyeing you out and showing a proud pose.
