|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is Lizzy, my sister's dog. She had been in a local humane shelter for over a year awaiting a home. My sister took one look at her and they bonded immediately. She's four years old and *very* protective of my sister. She got her name because she loves to chase lizards around in the backyard.|
Cropped, levels adjusted, sharpened.

oh how lovely.. i cant understand how these sweeties can end up in shelters for so long without a home.. it breaks my heart.. my black cat Bodmin was at the shelter for almost a year before i found him... oh i wish i could give them all homes!! Lizzy looks like a very wise lady and i'm so glad your sister and her found each other! really sweet photo :) - Ayda
Awe! He has a great expression. It looks like your outside with the way the light is shining on him - would have been better without the hands, but its understandable
This photo caught my eye because we just adopted an 8-month-old dog from a shelter. This is a great expression, she looks so thoughtful. I'm not sure why the bottom part of the photo is blurry, movement maybe? I do like the arms/hands in the photo, just shows she is loved and loves to be loved.
Your sister deserves a big hug from me I am a dog person 100%, thanks to your sister , dogs are the best people around,
