Often things are not as they appear. I'm sorry, but the mood struck me to post this even though I'm sure many of you won't like it and consequently I'll suffer a few bumps to the head.

This was a nice shot of a walking path and two very old barren trees. I really didn't do much pp work here. I was tone-mapping the photo and one of the methods yielded about 75% of the effect. Then I used the color curves tool to accentuate a bit and added the ragged frame.

Thanks for viewing and have a nice day.

Hey Werner,

This came out very well. I like it. Sometimes a slight deviation from our pp workflow can produce the most surprising results. The regal trees are the cornerstone of this composition, the colors are attractively intense and vivid. Oopps time to go to work and beat the beltway traffic.

Hi Werner,

This is one piece of Artwork with no doubt, very well mapped with controlled usage of color curves tool to get the right exposure look, the texture is very nice even we can see it's WS as well, very well fit border suits this sort of pic more elegant in look, the last not the least the name tag is very striking!

TFS,

Helo Werner,

I think this goes beyond the level of what we know as photography. Exquisite effect achieved.

Werner,

You are becoming an artsy guy! You know I'm crazy about this! I'm so impressed that you created it, and more so that you posted it. :)

This is cool! It's fun to experiment with these tool, isn't it?

My complements to your results here.

I must say that I've not seen anything like it. This crazy border goes great with it!

Buen trabajo

Hoi Werner,
I like this type of postings very much. It is not a simple PSU (point-shoot-upload), but a photo to which is given attention. And luckily I'm not the only one. :-)
Very nice effect, and go on with it.
Joop!

HI Werner
With the jaggered edges I am trying to make up my mind if its a crossbreed between a tapestry or weaved material.
What ever you call it I like the results and the effect of embossing effect on the trees.
Great stuff with pp
