[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The lady reporter pictured was covering what turned out to be the fatal wounding of a police officer in the line of duty. I work across the street from a major hospitalís shock trauma center and we see news people all of the time. I first spotted her from the window of our kitchenette as I was getting coffee. I also spotted my favorite local TV news personality covering the story, so I thought Iíd go outside for a few photos, and actually got to meet him and talk for a short time.

I saw a thread in the forums that stated 90% of the active members of TrekLens are men, so figured this photo should go over very well ;)

You could have asked for them to uncover their camera's, so we could check them out, lets get our priorities right,Werner:-)
Kidding aside, your image fits this weeks theme perfectly, you have captured the set up for a news shot, with the position of the camera man, the pretty newslady, all those wires to make the audio visual,& the news trucks that get everyone & everything to the action scene.Clear, sharp & definately tells a story.TFS

Cheers

Ron

Superb shot of a sad happening ! The reporter all done up looks strangely out of place.Friendly regards Otto.

Hi Werner
I saw a similar scene two weeks ago, in Mexico city. It was interesting.
I like all the elements of this composition.

Hello Werner, a great opportunity to catch this shot with the news crew right across the street,
and all the paraphernalia that comes with delivering up to the minute news.
An excellent documentary type of shot.
Regards Jean.

Hello Werner,
you have shown all the paraphenalia that is required to bring us instant news.
I quite like the connection between the attractive reporter and the hidden cameraman.
Regards Les.

Hi Werner,

This is fitting very well with the theme People at work. You have captured well the action of the TV crew getting ready to do a news reporting. Have a nice day.

Pierre

Bom dia Werner,
That's an classical intrigue captured by your candide camera plus a good amount of imagination.
Excellent entry for the theme. Great shot.
