|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Poppy is the name we called our Grandfather. He is no longer living, but he is still in my thoughts. This was his red truck. I remember going on errands with Poppy, and riding in his lap as he drove. I remember the old smell of the cab and the way the turn signal clicked. I can still hear the engine being fired up and the way the old radio dials looked. Now the truck sits alone literally sinking in to the ground in my parents' yard. Very sad end for this old friend, but happier memories live in my mind. Thank you for letting me share.|

A great image and memory for you.
Nice shot, Amy! Good PP work; it looks very natural! Your tight crop is very good, it gets us very close to the subject. I'm sure members of your familly will love this picture! TFS!

I agree, it looks completely natural and conveys the impression of an old truck having had a long "life"... The composition works really well, too...

Good way to capture this old friend and keep it forever, Amy. The composition is good with great light and good colours that really show us this aging friend. Well done!
This is a good shot and all work with PP. And is a good memory :-)
This is a beautiful shot. The bit of blue reflection in the windshield is a little distracting, it pulls me away from the feeling a little bit. I have been playing in photoshop trying to do a workshop, however I haven't been able to get it to do what I want it too. I will let you know when I get the results I want and will post it then!
