[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My buddy Brianthelion (Trampas) got me interested in Textures here recently with his marvelous shots. While I can't come close, I think he is using Nik Vivesa, I thought I might try to process some pics in HDR and do some practicing.
I climbed down in a gully on New Years Day to get closer to the water and almost couldn't get back out! HA! It was pretty steep. Hope you like it! This week I'll be posting other experimental shots!

Hi Linda,
Nice depth in this shot with great rustic colours to bring out the textures. Best wishes

Hi Linda,
Although this does not bring out the textures, quite like Trampases images, which I think has more to them than using Nik Vivesa:) the colouring is very natural.I like the reflections in the clear water, with the brown silt at the bottom, & as always a strong composition.

hi linda,
have you got your pic yet????

this is a strange place. i like the rocks at the bottom of the slope.
you have a nice composition and i like the addition of the vignette.

i was lucky, in my latest shots, to have access to some wonderful buildings. shooting close to the subjects helped bring out the textures as well.
i await tomorrows posting with great interest.

Hi Linda
I love your colours of brown here - so many different tones. And heaps of textures too.
Pleased you didn't fall and break your neck getting down the gully...
PS ALso like the lighting too.

Hello Linda,
I hope you've spend a great Easter.
The photo is wonderful, with a fantastic sharpness reproducing several diferents nature textures and colours. Excellent light and a wonderful tone and «colour of land and wood».
Best regards, mb

Hi Linda,
I like the way you show these textures... sepia colors subtly lit by HDR. Interesting reflections at the bottom left side of the image. Keep experiments! I learn a lot with your photos!

i like the earthy tones in this, a neat hdr process, hope all is well,

Hi Linda..I like the textures here as well..nice HDR work...well done.
