[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Now I've gone and done it, I have posted a kitty pic. Well...at least Minik will not be alone today. I shot this with a super wide angle lens. I would love to get into pet photography, for some $$$...that would be a fun thing to do, I think. I converted this to BW because it seemed to work better than color.
This is Hunter, he has graced the pages of TL before. Why did I post a pet pic today?..........because I can.
Don't hate me.....(haha!)

Hi Linda
I don't usually fall for cat or pet shots but here I simply could not resist because of ....... the great pov, the composition, the sharpness and the marvellous b&w. Good creative photography.

Hi Linda,

The wide angle works well, lot's of sharp detail and with the natural light nice clarity in the eyes.

Hi, Linda -
Great POV to capture the charming expression. The catchlight in the right eye is super! Great b&w tones and perfectly sharp on the cat's head. Don't apologize for posting a pet shot - they can really be great subjects, as you demonstrate with this image. I don't agree with the stigma attached to cute pet shots - good ones still take skill and an artistic eye. Cheers!

very beautiful! impressive light tones with that angle. great job

Fantasic sharp image - the ears, whiskers, and eyes. The shallow depth of field serves the image well here - concentrating the observer on the face of the cat.

I agree with you - black and white looks best here (colour would have been a distraction).
