[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Driving home from church yesterday the sun and clouds were performing a marvelous dance together and I took a series of photos which I will be sharing over the next couple of days. this one you can see the sun peeking through the clouds and rays shining down to earth.

Interesting choice in B/W, Mike. Most would have gone with the color. Brave decision.

It works, though. It makes you focus on the shape of the clouds and the rays.

I would try to increase the contrast between the clouds and the rays to really bring them out even more. I would have also tried to have used a little more of the earth to give a little more sense of scale.

Love it, though.

I like this one, almost very much. :) My reservation is the central placement of the "gap."

I like you ratio of earth to sky, but I think if this was cropped 1/3rd of the way down, it would be much more powerful.

Just my thought.
