[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This impomptu image was taken at an overlook of the Blue Ridge Mountains of this photographer capturing her scenic view of the valley below in the Shenandoah National Park.

Shot in RAW and PP began in PS-RAW adjusting clarity, vibrance, and other basic RAW adjustments. Then using NIK Sharpener, Dfine (noise reduction), and in Viveza made specific color balance adjustment, then cropped to show the subject on the ledge of the overlook with the background view.

Also I made two monochrome layers using NIK Silver Efex: a traditional selenium-toned B&W and the second sepia tone vignette version (shown in a Workshop). I chose the color version for this TL posting.

To look forward rather than to go forward is important in this kind of photography, Larry :-)
I hope she stayed there without moving an inch :P

A pin-sharp shot with great dedication the way the photographer is capturing the scenes.
The colors are natural and light is nicely managed.
Well spotted!

Best regards,
Paras

HI Larry, I admire this lady photographer. I couldnīt stand there for a second, I think. This is a perfect capture of this moment, you managed it perfectly for a very good result.
Regards Rose

Nice capture of a great combination...a woman and a beautiful scene from a photographer's perspective. Good dof with nice details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Hi Larry,

What I like the most about this is the precarious perch she's standing on. From this POV, she looks like she's right on the edge of the precipice (maybe she really is). Your combination of shutter and zoom resulted in the background being blurred just the right amount to give the viewer a sense of distance. Not too sharp, not too blurred.

Regards,
Werner

LAB,
Great shot of Carol Lynn standing on a sharp cliff at a "photographer's pose". Good contrast and clarity.

You captured Carol Lynn very pretty.
She's very brave. I wouldn't stand there to be modelling, Larry.
It seems that only a very light wind would blow her away

Bom dia Larry,
This is your hundredth image here in TL?
This one contains all the good qualities of his photographic art, clear, crisp and well made.
Double congratulations.
R.

Hi Larry , the mark of old school photography in the fact that the lady photographer peeps through her small camera viewfinder instead of cheching the view in the 3" LCD screen , hey i just can't shoot using the screen either , ha ha , anyway perfect position of Mrs Brechner ( read the thread with Raimundo.... ) in your frame and clearly a nice day and moment to shoot both panorama and your wife whom you brought in focus beautifully creating a neat division between planes yet i can tell of a green forest descending in layered ridges to a distant plain-like landscape , oh the sepia-toned is as good i reckon , two very good shots my friend ,
All my best,
Carol

Eccellente interpretazione natura e persona femminile .in un contesto fotografico .
