|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I took this shot of a table set up for a wine and cheese party a few of us held in our dorm at the College of William and Mary. I was already a little tipsy so the original shot was horribly out of focus with a very dark green tone (the room was painted institutional green, blah). I decided to play with color saturations using Gimp v1.4. This is what I came up with. I particularly like the way the bright red rose petals interact with the now blue table (it was grey originally). I also enjoy the shadow of the wine bottle and glasses from the strong light coming from the back of the table.|
Note: After viewing this picture on TL, I see that it took a big hit from the JPEG compression to get it down to 200 bytes. It should be much sharper. If any body has any ideas on how to retain the sharpness, I'll repost.
