[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I've put my old friend Enrique in a bit of a surrealistic landscape to highlight his plight. Far from his home in Mexico he has endured great lonliness to make his living as a carpenter's apprentice in California.

I messed around with the background, desaturating the highway and putting Enrique in the right lane.

I hope you like my experiment

this does have a kinda sureal look to it. I think you have gotten your message in the shot with your friend sitting on the long empty road. Interesting idea.TFS

Really nice and impressive, but i dont know why this picture havent got many points! nice picture tile and representation of tile in picture is really good and different.. nice editing work on picture,, very nice...
Keep it up

Nice composite David, what lens did you use for the road, the shot has great depth. Enrique is on the wrong side of the road for us brits though :-)

Hi David... Good one... But, one suggestion though... please be careful on Ur selection in Ur PP. Hmmm.. U could have used a feather value of '3' to select and desaturate as here it looks clearly that U have pasted ... I hope U got the point. For the shot, amazing PP. I like the way U carefully and perfectly desaturated the road and the way U have presented to show his loneliness... Thanks for sharing :)

Take care...
- Hima.

Very, very good David. It looks like it came from a Trafaut film!

Interesting mixture of images loke the background shot the figure as you pointed out looks a little small in comparrision to the road but it works well perhaps try colour matching the layers to make the merge a little more seamless but great composition

Ha, good pp work David. He stands out, sorry, sits out, very well against the road and BG. Well dopne, thank you.

the steps of your experiments are really nice, desaturating the highway is genius I think.it is a very good compo over all in my opinion and Enrique is the right person to do that I think,he poses with a great participating soul.

fantastic landscape!!
good composition for ENRIQUE
