Hard to identify from just the bridge, but perhaps a hammered dulcimer? There is a number of instruments with double strings.... I like your POV that you used also. Photographing musical instruments is a real challenge and I think you made this one very interesting. A late welcome to Treklens, Chuck....:O)

Very nice shot Chuck. nice DOF, composition and sharpness, not sure what is this instrument, it might be a lute, not sure. Sorry can't help you with that.
