This is a scan of an original 8x10. The picture has been locally publicized through the state of Washington and also for people in print form.

The reason I went back into photography after retirement, was to take pictures of our second youngest son playing high school basketball. Dan is pictured here as he had just made a slam dunk and now turned around in mid air looking his opponent in the eye with a menacing look. Dan is 6 foot 8 inches tall and is now a 3rd year college student. He still plays B'Ball once in a while...

This really appeals to me Bob, a true "frozen in time" moment. I love the quality of the b/w image here, there's a real nostalgic, dated feel that works very well. Slight shame about the umpires arm, but a minor issue overall. Nice shot!

A fine bit of B&W work, Bob, with the intimate feel of a cozy gym and a fine sense of drama. Your subjects -- son, ball, opponent -- are all very precisely and aptly shown. Thanks for unveiling this fine example of your versatility.

Great shot Bob.
Perfect timing and great sharpness.
You captured this perfectly.
Well done.

PS: a question... do you know what is the utility of the bracelet that the players have to the left leg, under the knee?
