[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Folks in the city get pretty upset when it snows..TV stations run specials...police send out warnings...all other things stop. Schools close etc....but in my world..in the wilderness and even here on the Palouse..snow has been happening way before man arrived...and it is always beautiful...This is snow on the Palouse of Washington State...

Hey Bob,
I really enjoy your note and details of this big amount of snow. Though it looks a little flat with tones- I think if you simply added "levels" in photoshop it would bring out lighting a bit more.

Leanne

Something familiar with us in Québec, for me always beautiful a scene like this. I appreciated the fact your photography is not surex, not easy with the snow.

Michel.

Wonderful B&W winter landscape!
Very nice POV and image size.
Great shot Bob.

Dany

You're right -- it is indeed beautiful
Snow is so very difficult to capture well and kudos to you for this one: crisp, clean and with lots of light and shadow play

Hello Bob,
The simplicity of the composition is striking!
But the image needs the words...
Together they are great!
Greetings,

Yes, I can imagine the danger / problems snow causes Bob on roads and concrete paths, etc, and businesses may have to close down and lose all that money they should be earning!!

But out where you are people will be more resilient and accept that snow is part of their lives - so they accept it... Or else they go back to the concrete jungle to moan about it all.

Super image Bob, very simple, 2 colours, 2 posts, 3 twigs, but your comments are what make it.

Thank you from hot sunny Down Under.
Janice
