One of many barns in the Pallouse region, this one was near the town of Pulman. The overhead wires are staying
they are part of this rural scene, ugly or not.I tried to capture a feeling of the farming area I was in, & I thought this wooden barn would help with the composition to do that?

Beautiful capture of this country scene! I like those old barns. Great pov and dof with sharp details. Wonderful colos with good saturation. Very well done, tfs.

Hello Ronald, you give the impression of being right in the middle of nowhere!
Lots of space and a track that leads, who knows where?
These barns are fascinating, and if I were there I would be taking shots of them too.
I like the crop with just a hint of other farm buildings to the r/h/s.
Tfs, regards Jean.

HI Ron, you certainly caught a very common rural scene - with the overhead lines and the typical going over from paved to the dirt road. I love those rural areas - and after years and years you do not know it different, having overhead lines. - All along our farm road - we have big fat posts for the lines - only the last meters - might be l0 we could afford to be in the ground !!!
I love the country life ....... it has soo much going for it - most of all privacy and tranquility .
Well done - kind rgards and a good Sunday Monika

Hi Ronald

I like the minimalist composition with just the old weathered barn the winding dirt road & the old shed & fence at right. Good saturation on the green grass. Nice cloud patterns in the sky. The powerlines suggest some farmer might still use this barn? Tfs!
