Another photo I made at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma.

The Museum of Glass is an international center for contemporary art with a sustained focus on glass. It is both a unique museum and the cultural cornerstone of Tacoma's $150 million redevelopment along the Thea Foss Waterway.

The bridge takes pedestrians through a tunnel of brilliant light and color created by Chihuly's glass forms. A partnership between the Museum of Glass, legendary Studio Glass pioneer Dale Chihuly and the city of Tacoma has resulted in the Chihuly Bridge of Glass, a 500-foot-long pedestrian overpass links the Museum to downtown Tacoma and its developing cultural corridor. Austin-based Arthur Andersson, architect of the Washington State History Museum, designed the bridge in close collaboration with Chihuly, who directed the artistic concept. The project provides a means for the internationally renowned Chihuly to contribute in a very public way to his hometown.

I like this -- really different and colorful. It reminds me of jellyfish and seashells.

Super effect Niek. The backlit object certainly presents itself as an interesting subject and you photographed it well.

Very colorful and well lit.

Hi Niek, I looked at your gallery and this photo reminds me of the glass artwork that I took photos of in december, It looks like being the same forms but in different colours.

I like it very much. Very well composed by enclosing the whole circle. I like also the transparency, the light showing through.

Take care, Yan :)

I'm speechless, this is so marvelous.
I like the POV and the textures, if lass had texture this would be it.

Merci for the View

This is great!!!!I like so much!
warm regards!

Hello Niek,
This is beautiful, and a very original capture!
The play of lighting is special since it is glass, and the many shapes and forms adds to beauty...
Good framing, pleasant colours all over!

This one is my favorite from the glass serie. For the light, the colors, the curves, very Art Nouveau... It makes me think to the mechanism of a clock, but indicating a poetic time.
