We are His hands

I was looking at my hands today, contemplative about our ability to shape hearts out of them. There must be a reason for this. :) I was inspired to put my thoughts into a picture.

To take this portrait, I set my camera on the table, facing me and used the self-timer. I was actually holding my hands so the heart appeared upside-down (much too complicated to style them the right way AND take a photo - kudos to anyone who can!).

I rotated the image and added the border in Irfanview, then brought it into Paint Shop Pro IX to tweak the color a bit and add the text overlay.

There is more I want to do with this concept; this was just my first go-around with the idea, sort of a sketch.

Hi Kimberley!
You made it very nicely!
Good idea, a nice note ,too!
Brazilian greetings,

Is interesting indeed how we can shape our bodies, and our hand in this case to create something more beautiful. Your idea came out very well and the heart is well defined by your hands. Light and colours seem very natural and the composition, complete with the frame and title is very inspirational. Thanks Kimberley :-)

Hi Kimberly,

A beautiful and simple gesture which is well photograph. Well framed and excellent composition.

Hi Kimberley, A very creative and meaningful study. Well done! I like it very much. TFS. Regards, Pat.

Very nice, romantic, calm lighting you had for the picture. Looks great. I really do like the picture, but personally, I find the color of yellowish gold on the left hand to be a bit of a distraction.

Hi Kimberly,

This is a simple shot but really meaningful. The position you have chosen of the hands to make heart if the same position is chosen single and removing the other hand it will be the Position of TIGER FIST used in Kung Fu and a trained master can take your skin of with the Tiger Fist and that becomes aggressive position.

But if Two Tiger Fists are combined Finger to Finger then then it becomes heart and i will preger your version of the fists as i love PEACE.

Well done and Tfs.

With best regards,
Muhammad Usman Ali
