[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my oldest daughter Aislinn doing what she loves to do. After a long winter the temperatures in Ohio got hot real fast, so she is taking advantage.

This shot was taken with a 55-200mm lens with a focal length of 200mm. I was about 25 feet away when I took the pic. In PP I enhansed the green in the chair, increased the saturation, cropped, framed then resized.

I usually don't shoot people so any critiques, comments or advice is most welcome. As always thanks for viewing.

Great shot Kevin, The yellow really adds some wonderful color here.
It also provides contrast to the tanned skin.
Excellent verticle format choice.
Well composed.

Great shot with a good summer mood to it.

The strong light and high contrast and saturation brings out the summer mood together with your model and her probs.
Good sharpness, can see your reflection in the sunnies.

Good job!

Hi Kevin:)
OK let me to be honest: I'm not an expert but in my opinion this shot doesn't have a good light, sun is to high, some reflections on her face are too bright - it will be much better before sunset and with experiments of angles for this kind of photography. Other thing - you are visible in Aislinn sunglasses what spouse to be avoided because she is absolute subject here
BG is good - nice contrast and makes good colour balance.
Major goal of this photo? - priceless memories:):):)
Greetings - Tom
:) later

This is really nice Kevin and I like all the extras, the sunglasses, the IPOD earbuds, the expression of "What?, not again" which is what my daughter gives me! Love the angle on this, it makes it super interesting!

this is a nice portrait. I like the angle of the girl in the frame with the great colors.

Hi Kevin,

Maybe I would use a filter of neatness on the image and I would decrease a little the saturation of colors.

But on the other hand, I love the composition of the image. I think it's a beautiful portrait.

It's a good picture,
Thx for sharing.

Hi Kevin,
Your lovely daughter seems totally absorbed by the brilliant rays of sun and the sounds of her ipod.
Lovely summer image with a vivid shadow seen agains the striking yellow chair.
Regards, Tom

Another good one of yours Kevin , this time with so or too much sun to cope with and frankly you managed very well here ! Considering the intensity of the light your daughter's skin tone are well exposed particularly evident against the colourful chair .Perfect composition ,

Hi Kevin
The colors are sharp and well composed againts florecent green. Which gives a contrasting look with her skin tones & sunglass. Her shadow falling on green Bg is intersting as well.

Excellent portrait Kevin. I hope to see more of the sunglasses reflection. But as it is superb!

Hi Kevi, Good portrait of a teenager Chilling out with sun and an Ipod! Many millions are doing just this, and the rest maybe wish they could. Ideal for TL. TFS. Murray.

I need some time to take a closer look and see her eyes behind the sun glasses. And that's what attracts a lot!
