Walking around Chicago for the sole purpose to photograph the city, I saw this small kid approaching the big Moose statue with some doubts and a lot of courage. BIG KID!
The moose was very scared :(

PP was cropping the top, deleting a invading building on the top right corner. Increase contrast and brightness.
This photo has a strong experimental component for me, once I still learning with this lens (and having a lot of fun with it!)
C&C are very welcome.

hi wellington.

this is nice. composition, PP works, and POV. i like the saturation, unique and yet you retain th sharpness of the subject. definitely captivating.

an excellent postcard from Chicago
i like this mood, Wellington

From the thumbnail I assumed (wrongly) that this was an insanely over the top PP job. I only opened to full size so that I could pour my secret scorn upon it!! ;)

Surprise then! I rather like it. It's retained a photo realism, whilst at the same time drifting into the graphic arts - with a light touch, in a way which seems somehow appropriate for this metal beast and his surroundings.

Well done.

The thumbnail looked like a cartoon, the photo like very good use of the fisheye lens. The minimalist colour with essentially just silver and the blue of the boy's jacket adds to the effect. Go and have more fun with the lens. (I'm thinking I should get one).

very unusaull shot here my friend you have realy captured the monemt of the child approaching the model very well captured tfs

Great perspective shot! Amazing how the child could fit on the end of the moose's nose, and the building behind fits nicely between the moose's antlers! I like the brightness of this photo, as well as the hint of blue sky and overall minimal presence of color. Well done.

Hello Wellington,

It's interesting to see that other cities have some playful and/or interesting statues. I was raised not too far from Chicago and we visited as a family many times for weekends. Interesting, large city.

Clever shot!

gosto muito dos efeitos de saus fotos :)
