[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Took this last night at the Appleton Christmas Parade, the largest nighttime parade in the Midwest. I'm still experimenting with my relatively new Canon 50 mm prime lens, and I took this without the flash, aperture priority, aiming up at the youngster perched on his dad's shoulders to watch the bands coming up the street. I liked the effect of the blurred Christmas lights in the background and tried to combine that with the "natural" lighting on the boy's face.

Hello Jim,

I like this nice portrait with the blurred christmas light in the background that give it a nice festive look.
