|Even if we are in the grips of winter I chose to go with 2nd option for this weeks theme...|
If you look real close you will see Noah (my 12 year old) hiding behind the ball... boy oh boy it should not be so hard to get a good photo of him!!
This was taken in MAY.. here in Massachusetts its still not "warm" and the water could still have a ice chill to it.. but that never keeps my little fish out of the pool.....

Oh well in my part of the world that looks wonderfully inviting ... the summer is kicking in with some humid weather and a dip in your pool is tempting indeed.
I love the colours, light, the corruscating patterns and the almost-abstract feeling to this shot. It would've been nice to have that tiled background - and the legs of the poolside-chair - out of the shot, but it's no big deal.
What a superb colors in the water and the ball !
I agree with Rew that the chair is a bit distracting, but indeed is not that big a problem.
That's beautiful, Tricia - and realy perfect for the theme.
The colours are fantastic, very pretty one, thanks

Tricia made my day with the WS comments, just saw this today, as been to busy for TL till now.
For me its the contrast between the two photos that I like.
Had to look to find Noah, certainly is not easy to get your kids to work with you at times.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Great New Year, to you and your family
