[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yep, I know I'm not a good regular here anymore but lots of my friends are so I want to wish you all a Safe and Happy New Year and blessings to you and yours for the year 2010!

The photo was taken in the parking lot of the grocery store I shop in, just one of the beautiful views here in Vermont. The mountains in the distance are Jay Peak a popular ski resort here in northern Vermont and I'm lucky enough to live on the western skirts of that mountain.

Jay Peak is 1,176 metres (3,858 feet) high and is a short 5 miles south of the Quebec, Canada border, not only does it have great skiing but hiking as well as Jay Peak is the northernmost major mountain crossed by the Long Trail, a 272-mile (438-km) hiking trail running the length of Vermont.

The photo was taken with my circular polarizer and shot hand held. No touch ups made just added a small border and greeting.

Nice landscape Donna - sharp.. I'd have less sky here from a tech point of view, maybe more panoramic crop?

YEAH! The longest day of the year! It's almost over! So glad Anders will be back, hope you have that cleaning list made! This is a great shot, nice blue and white colors, really pretty, I'm sure you hate it! But we love it down here! Best Wishes for 2010!
