[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Following a brief hibernation (I have been busy and uninspired lately), I found TL lacking in excitement. We all know what is going on...and I challenge everyone to bring back TL to its glory days. Let's post our good quality shots, start interacting with members in a friendly way, and keep on shooting.

A sunset scene from Chincoteague/Assateague National Park in Virginia. There was no pp work except for resizing.

Olá dear Danilo
In fact it is really sad to have the feeling of lost that came in TL...I miss u and I miss a lot of people who had make this a funny and helping place to be. There are resistant but sometimes it is not easy because " il manque la vie".
Your light is back and the excellent composition with a long sight have a great visual impact. I think everybody have miss you, your good photos, your emotional way to look photos and friends.
Um grande abraço
teresa

Beautiful work as always Danilo! Not sure what is going on with TL, other than maybe people are more focused on other things these days! Your work is always top notch and I always look forward to seeing your photos! You managed to keep the FG well lit, with nice detail. What a stunning scene! Well done!

This is a wonderful piece of art as well as an excellent example of photography, Danilo!

The warm tones of the sunset brings great charm and beauty to the work.
The sharpness and POV are well chosen and positioning of the setting sun is well measured.
The silhouettes of the boats are certainly a bonus.
Well seen!

Greetings,
Paras

Hi Danilo, good to see you!
Beautiful shot .. your timing was great! Nicely constructed shot, with the sun and the boats placed very well within the shot. Love the almost metallic look of the mud in the FG too.
Hope all is well

Hi Danilo,

Nice job with exposure and composition. The off-center sun, colors and boat silhouettes make for a lovely photo. It's personal taste, but I think a little less of the foreground to place the horizon nearer the upper thirds horizontal may be beneficial.

Great to see your back,I mean your posting again:-)& a good challenge to everyone too, well said.
Your inspiration has returned, with this moody sunset scene.
I like your angle for this shot,I like how the foreground lines lead the eye to the two silhouetted boats, as the bright sun has its own drawing card,so this gives a good balance to the scene.I like how the ND grad has helped deepen the colours, would a circular polarizer have the same effect?

Hi Danilo,
Amazing warm sunset! Colors are intense and low tide let see fine details on the beach. I like the composition with the progression of the dark foreground towards the fire of horizon. Fire is really what is missing on the site, this time! I hope we can blow its embers to revive it. :)
Good to see you are back! Annie

Hi Danilo,
beautiful sunset.Perfect depth.I liked harmony of the colours in here.TFS.Necla.

hi danilo, a wonderful shot with great exposures and colors, an obvious nice peaceful scene captured well,
its a shame your uninspired lately but thats ok, in fact maybe even good, , we all need a balance and usually it takes a break for us to realize why we even started and what it is we love about it, i get the same thing with my guitar (when i actually take a break that is!)
at the end of the day...photography is a gift and a skill you have that can be used now or later whenever you decide,
as far as TL go's, it still pleases me to post shots and read everyone's reactions (meaningless points or not!)

i looking forward to getting out and shooting in amazing light at an amazing scene and seeing my results and sharing with others-here and elsewhere.

take care trek friend...please (haha) keep on shooting...scott

Hi, Danilo. Beautiful scene with a great POV and natural colors. I do like the horizon line in this photo since it increases the foreground and give depth to the photo. The photo is sharp and the silhouetted boats give scale and add to the composition. Cheers.

Hi Danilo
Happy to see your work again
Wonderful colours and a fantasic moody light with a great low perspective what adds a great impact
Congrats, mb

Good Evening Danilo,

I applaud your sentiments!
This is a really well composed shot, taken from a low pov, which gives a sense of 'being there' to the viewer.
The warm colours attract the eyes right to the back of the shot, where the setting sun is perfectly positioned in the frame.

Have a lovely w/e,
Bev :-)

Hi Danilo...nice shot....great light and tones...nice details...good work on the exposure of this one...

Hi Danilo

Now that it's getting colder in Korea, I should start to book return flights to Manila, & do you know which airport the direct SeaAir flights for El Nido depart from? Not the one with Cebu Pacific, found that out last year & ended up at Boracay. I may even buy a Nikon D90 digital camera before I go! Here I would crop the dark fg which does nothing for the rest of the image imho. Good sunset colors, sharpness & reflections. Tfs!

Fine work Danilo. A great and beautiful DOF, fantastic colors, nuances and rich details.
Good to see you.

Hi Danilo,
Excellent piece of work. The depth
in your image is fantastic. Grey turning
into bright orange as you look inwards
creates a marvelous mood. Well done.
Regards.
