[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is interesting looking at the different effect created using color instead of black and white. While black and white shows bone structure and intensity, color shows softness and warmth. In both cases the lighting is critical. In Carly's case because the idea was to bring out her soft feminine side, the lighting is more in front of her and more even so there are no areas of deep shadows. In the case of men, especially rugged individuals, the lighting is more effective around the sides or in back of them to bring out deep shadows and harsh facial details.

Hello Roger :)

Pretty, very bright face...pretty portrait!
Splendid composition in colours, light and perfect sharpness.
Very showy work, I congratulate realization!

Best wishes.

Hi Roger,

Another superb portrait from your charming model, Carly!
Great expressions and perfect eye-to-eye contact with great contrast between her glowing green eyes and the black surroundings. The sharpness and POv are well done, and the way your model is posing for the camera is so humble and natural.

Well done again!

Best regards,
Paras

How nice again Roger , absolutely agree with your note the lighting is well measured , there is a certain softness compared to your previous B&W portrait of her which is the one i prefer nevertheless her little finger raised and her touching her ear make the pose very womanly, one of hose gestures they do when they look at themselves in the mirror , a delicate approach to posing and modelling that i like and that does make her even prettier ,
Thanks for sharing her beauty ,
Carol
