[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another long day and as exhausted as I am my day would not be complete without posting one of my favotire shots. When I work on my old computer and search the archives I realize how much I have learned from all of you. I hate to admit how many flaws I find in the photos I love. It was almost dark when I took this shot of a mute swan, knee deep in water, at Sunken Meadow Park. The reflection above its head extended much further down but interfered with the head and neck of the swan so I cloned it out. There was no oe in the shot in its original state so I hope I didn't add any when I adjusted the levels. Hope you like it. Have a great day!

Hallo Lori...
Delicatete, admiratie, curaj si...frumusete!
Toate aceste calitati le vad eu la aceasta minunata imagine!
Numai bine

I think I would have cloned out all of that reflection because it is recognizable and I find it distracting. The lighting is nice on the swan and contrasts well with the blue black of the water.TFS

What a lovely mood you have caught in this beautiful picture, dear Lori!
The picture is razor-sharp and light is amazing.
I like the superb contrast between the emerging white of the swan and the dark bluish waters.
Well caught!

Thanks and regards,

Hi Lori,
A perfectly timed moment to capture this swan streatching its wings! Good light management to produce such an exposure.
Well, a nice Nature shot while I agree with David, I would have cloned the white reflection in the top!
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

Hi Lori...
Nice shot with so nice timing...
Nice colors contrast...

Hi Lori, hope you don´t mind.(Workshop swan) This swan is so beautiful and the white reflection was not ok in my eyes. I love the contrast, knee deep is the right title for this white beauty.
Rose, on my way to the dentist again:-((((

Merhaba Lori,
Very nice portrait of the swan.Nice moment.
Işık ve suyun yüzeyindeki yansımalar çok hoşuma gitti.

Hi Lori,
We definately improve as time goes on and we learn more techniques and try more settings. There are however always some favourites in the archives and this image must be one of them.A nice strong contrast however I do agree with the overpowering reflection.Nice definition on the birds wings and overall well composed.

What a beautiful moment. The wings are extended so gracefully, and you can see the individual feathers.
Great capture!
