|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Today was the first day I have been out in 3 days. I injured my arm last week and was temporarily in a cast that went from my hand all the way up my arm. One of the things (among many) that I realized I couldn't do was hold a camera!|
I am so thankful that I didn't have to keep the cast on and that I can fully use my fingers and have most of the mobility of my arm.
My husband bought me a new Canon EOS Rebel T1I, which I didn't know about. When it arrived he was afraid to give it to me because of my arm. Well, after the cast came off and he could see that I was gaining mobility, he gave it to me. I can't tell you how surprised I was.
So today we drove to our favorite garden park in Valparaiso to see what kind of flowers they have planted this year. Every year it is something different. And so many flowers that I have never seen before.
This one is familiar and I just posted one that I took in Kentucky not too long ago. But I was very pleased with the color and beauty, so I thought I would share it with you. And I am so happy to be able to share it with you today!
Have a great week, friends.

Hi Carol Lynn,
An awesome macro of this marvelous pink flower with a charming heart in razor sharpness.
Good lighting caressing its beauty.
A neat presentation.
Nice shot Carol Lynn. Beautiful color and sharp detail. A bit of oe with the bright sunlight but so minor. Congratulations on your new camera and I hope your arm is feeling much better!
