|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I went to Yosemite with some photog friends last April and we all enjoyed ample opportunities to capture Yosemite Falls and other iconic landscapes. The falls were full from the spring snow melt and the weather was perfect for exploring. |
I took this shot in color but wasn't happy with the distraction of some raggedy twigs in the foreground. Converting it to b&w (used Nik Silver Efex Pro) solved that problem and gave the image an Ansel Adams look besides:)

I like the glimpse of the fall in the your POV. Not to sure about the tree blocking the way. I do like the hard contrast in your image. very nice.

I like your "Ansel Adams" treatment of this iconic waterfall. In Momochrome, the twigs in the foreground become less of a problem for the whole composition.
PS: Love that NIK Silver Efex Pro
