The various shades of blue are pleasant indeed. Cropping off at the bottom would improve the composition and hopefully also eliminate the bit that informs us that this is a photograph. And about the photographer's name in the image, well it is a matter of taste ... or attitude. In my opinion the indeterminate blue objects on the right, and the whole jetty for that matter, does nothing for the scene and neither does the vehicle middle right. The white fence posts and the small figures of what appear to be cyclists or hikers also do not do it for me but these are just my observations for you to accept or reject in your own wisdom. And may I add that, according to my understanding, this site is about photography and not about photographers so that first person "I, me, myself" kind of reportage does not fit that purpose. I sincerely apologise if you perceive my comments as being unfair but it is only my opinion which you are welcome to ignore. Still worth my two points, though :) Best wishes.
Hi Ruby..nice shot...excellent tones and details. Nicely composed.
Have to agree that the different shades of blue and the stillness of the water is amazing! I like the fact that the equal space has been given to the water and sky, it creates a nice effect for me, becuase of the blues! The reflections seen on the left (by the little boats) adds an interesting effect too!
