[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have been playing with this image in color and black and white and find that the vintage look of the black and white works well and resembles the old time shots of the Tour de France.

This image is a composite of three or four images. The first set of images was to create a background free of cyclists or motorists. Using a 135mm lens this took three images stitched together.

The riders and the motorcyclists were then separated from another image eliminating other cars and motorcyclists. This image was then placed into the background image.

The final image was converted to black and white using NIK's Silver Efex Pro.

The b/w tones do add much, especially with their shadows.

Hello Roger, I do admire your skills at photography. This is a carefully thought out composition.I like the placing of all the action in the bottom half of the picture, with an almost empty bridge in the bg.
The b/w is perfect.
