[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Wedding photography is frightening in many respects. Whereas photography in general is something I don't rush and rather wait for the right light and the right situation, wedding photography has to be done quickly and efficiently in often bad lighting conditions and must be as perfect as possible.

I used the 135mm lens for all the outdoor shots. I like the speed and the shallow depth of field and the clarity is very good.

Hi Roger

Although the lighting exposure etc are all good, I did think the image was too sharp.

I hope you don't mind, but I've done a workshop to see if the image was softened it would improve. I'll let you decide.

Yes, frightening, especially so in the days of film photography - "what if I did, or will do, something wrong and even one of the spools of film is spoiled?" Personally I do not think the image is too sharp and I prefer the less pinkish flesh tones to those of Ron's workshop. Interesting that she has a tattoo of herself on her left arm, beauty spot and all, and it adds further interest. The bokeh is very good but I do find the background slightly distracting. All in all a very good image, though.
