All were given the keys.
Some misplaced.
Lost in the gray confusion.

The gates can open to whatever you want...

Photograph was cropped, saturation added, contrasts increased, desaturated selected areas, curves heavily adjusted, saturation decreased, resized, sharpened and framed in photoshop.

Thanks for looking and all comments, feelings and critiques welcome.

Hi kevin:
I am a new member in this website, but not new in photography. I like this picture, it has an extraordinary poetycal scene. I like it.
Serigo

i'm surprised not many people commented on this photo...

i like you PP work and composition here.
the b/w on one side of the fence is cool

the contrast between the blue sky on one side against the sillouetted rusty fence and b/w sky on the other is awsome

very well done

Kevin,
Beautiful coloring on the sky. I really like the POV too. I can't quite describe it but its like I am inside and outside of the gate at the same time.
I like the speckling and contrast, it makes the gate feel stark and uncompromising.
The desaturated areas are great, makes it feel like the gate is standing on its own surrounded by nothing.
This is a really well done composition
thank you for sharing
Ed

Hi Kevin,
Very nice photo. I like the colours that you have created here. The POV and the angle of the shot is great. The area that you desaturated almost gives a feeling of a roof or a tunnel. Very creative and very impressive PP skils on display here.

Hi Kevin, I like very much your pov, the colours, and the texture that is enhance of this old gate.

Very well done. Take care, Yan

Taken from a good low angle. I like the colours you achieved. There's a bit of noise which could be easly removed with www.NeatImage.com (free download), but you may like here on your image. Not sure as noise is a personal taste.

Very artistic photo taken from an interesting angle. Beautiful colours and perfect saturation.

WELL DONE!!

Shelly:)

So much symbolism...the unknown, the forbidden, the secret, the protected, the opportunity, the access. I'm moved and changed.
