[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A big surf at Cronulla (southern suburb of Sydney) yesterday. The game these kids are playing is to see who can remain holding the chain when the waves break over them. Most waves washed them all into the pool but sometimes one remained victorious. I was hoping to capture a feeling of expectation as they faced a big wave.
Adjusted levels, cropped and reduced noise.

Bonjour Terry,
WoW vraiment saisissant !

The surf is really boiling Terry.

Love the greens in the water and the froth in the foreground.

An interesting and unusual shot

Bom dia Terry.

The scnene is very good. You catched with a good light and sharpness. The details are very well seen...and the water shows its dynamic effect.

What a splendid shot! I love the action in the water and waves!
Those people have to hold on tight against those waves!
Nice blue colours here!
Good use of the light.

Bonjour Terry

Just Wooooow!
Hi Terry, this moment is spectacular, I would like to see such a big wave with my own eyes.
Impressive colours, wonderful atmosphere, I can almost feel the salty spray in my face, that's refreshing, thanks.
Greetings from the cold Germany

I agree: excellent lighting and composition.
The humans are placed in a nice line below the majestic sky, facing the powerful ocean.
Great play of colour and energy.

Hi Terry, I love this photo.
WOW Look at that power!! Is it dangerous? I can see kids maybe being swept out to sea???
The black figures show up so well against the stormy sea.
Well composed too, following the Thirds of photography, just perfect.
I wish I could have taken this photo
Many thanks
