[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A particularly foggy morning on the banks of the North Esk River which runs through the southern suburbs of Launceston. The fog had just started to lift as the rays of the sun highlighted the colours of the willows.
Some saturation was used to highlight the 'gold' of the tree.

La photo donne vraiment l'impression que toutes les branches vont tomber de fatigue. L'effet est spectaculaire! Superbe photo.

What a nice composition with the fog and early morning light. The tree branches of the willow almost look soft and dripping I love the burning look too.

Hi David this is a great shot, very sharp and nice composition.. I think this shot would look good with a nice frame..

Wonderful photography David! I love the contrast-sharp colors in the foreground and the soft feathery look of the trees in the background. Well done! TFS.

Wonderful start in here; great moody picture with (to me) a feeling of sadness, caused by fog and floodlight.
Very good David; and welcome in TL.

Welcome to TL, David! Nice first entry. Definitely a great light, well captured. Looking forward to seeing more from you!

The light on the main tree is great. Nice shot !

I would have cropped the bench on the left

Nice onedavid, I love the bare willow branches - they look so graceful drooping downwards. Colours and details are superb too. The sun and the fog go well together. Well shown, thank you...

Welcome to TL David, haha!

I have been browsing your portfolio and eventaully got stuck up on your first post. Besides all the beautiful photography, this picture has an immense attraction. Golden illumination on a dry tree and misty background is fantastic. Angular light is awesome and rightly chosen point of view. Well done my friend.

Thanks for sharing this image.

hello David

this is a picture with a lovely visual atraction: all these dry trees on the foggy Bg and the nice light make a wondeful picture
It is pity you could not get the whole tree

Hi David,
There are moments that you just have to capture there&then and that never can be duplicated.
You have this one, we could all 854 of us enjoy it, so why bother.
Amazing - 2 years on TL! Congratulations and TFS so many beautiful pictures with us,

Hi David,

Thia is an excellent shot, well captured, excellent composition and POV. TFS

David, a lovely image you have captured here. The colour saturation you added to the willow adds the extra punch to the image. I would like to come back to Tas one day soon, this time with a camera.

Hello David
"Early birds get the bluegrass"...and early trekkers get the best lightings, such as this one that provides much softness on finely-laced branches.
Appealing mood of freshness!

Hi David
first time I look your gallery and was very nice for my eyes to look lot of beautiful shots
...but i want to start from the first because is the most important for us.
You started well, great effect on this tree and perfect light
As usual at the first we say..WELCOME ON TL
Ciao and thanks
