A golf club smashing a light bulb
The only way to capture these high speed shots is with a sound activated flash in a dark room. It's hard enough to hit a golf ball in daylight never mind hitting something in the dark.
There was a small light source to the left so I could see my target and you can see a slight image of the light bulb before impact.
It does make a hell of a mess- Mrs Jackal wasn't too impressed

HI Jack,
Im sure Mrs Jackal wasent impressed but I can say that i am impressed. A clever title and the impact is visually shown as the pieces are shattered everywhere. How many bulbs did you try before getting it spot on as this is a fantastic result.Great experiment and presentation.

Hi Jack
I'm afraid I'm not qualified to give an educated critique. Amazing, a 4 second exposure but I can still read the word "fusion" on the club.
Jack
In thumbnail, I thought I saw a shark attack ... but no, I'm disappointed.
But I notice your constant creativity and I like it.
However it is an interesting impact, good idea.

Bonjour Jack,
Quel merveilleux travail technique! le résultat est impressionnant,
Au début, Le club de golf m'a fait pensé à un coup de poing donné par un boxeur, quel punch! Joli travail et original!
