[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

Shot this 'left over' of this tree on the dune top at Waihi beach in the Coramandel on the last day of 2008.

The view was breathtaking....the sky gorgeous and the sea wonderful. At leat I enjoyed the view, including this leaveless tree!

Took this picture with the CP filter.

PP work, Shot in Raw, adjusted contrast and vibrance(minor), converted to jpeg and adjusted the curves, used USM for sharpening, resized and add frame.

Hello Hans,

Wonderfull composition with the tree and the frame is excellent.
Great details and sharpness, the colors are natural.
The sky is magic and the light perfect.
Happy new year my friend to you and your family.

Boa tarde Hans,
Simply marvelous! A fantastic DOF. A great diagonal and a spetecular lightness.
A fine work-of-art,

Knap werk!
TFS & groetjes,

I like this POV Hans. I don't know much about this hobby, but to me POV seems paramount. I like how the tree seems to reach for the opposite corner of your composition. The colors are grand. The many variations of blue makes this very interesting to me. I also like the bush on the right adding an additional another subject, but with less significance. I'm not competent enough Hans to technically critique a photo, but I can tell you what appeals to me in yours.

Beautiful colours - the sky is so deep blue! Unusual and striking crop to the square format, it works well for this subject.

Hi Hans,
I like the stark tree against the blue sky and the sea here. Great photo.
