Looks like an ordinary sunset?
The odd thing here is the sun is setting behind me taking this picture. So we weren't sure what was causing these rays. I didn't get up the next morning to capture the sunrise, it would be beautiful coming up over the water there.

Very interesting picture. I was wondering if it was the southern lights. What is the bright white dot in the picture though? Its amazing what sunrises and sunsets can do.
