[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I saw a shag surface about 50m offshore, managed a focus, and as I pressed the shutter the second bird surfaced.

A happy accident.

Shot in Raw, processed as HDR.

There were dozens of birds on the shore, I will post a close up tomorrow night.

Hi Peter.
Well caught with this big lens looking forward to the close up.
Cheers Dave.

Hello Peter, a good sharp image of the two birds, some of their patterned feathers are easy to see.
Their eyes and that little yellow piece, are eye catching.
I like the patterning in the water, it somehow complements the birds.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Pete, its funny when they pop up underneath each other. The feathers are quite sharp on the front one showing the tight overlap. Fiona

Very interesting markings on those birds, the yellow dot on their forehead. Nicely captured with good details. Well done, tfs.
