[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This from my trip to NZ last month in South Island..

Pure NZ is the catch phrase our Kiwi neighbours use to attract overseas visitors to this beautiful land, it is not as pure as it used to be but what is ;) I was there 15 years earlier and at the time things were not as commercialized as today..

That was such a beautiful day with some high clouds and crisp fresh air, we had a leisurely walk along the lake..

Have a look at the map for location.

Yeah, some of the purity has been spoiled already, but in other areas they're doing much to improve it and minimise the impact of tourists, which is great.

I understand the Australian tourist board is watching NZ's promotional campaign's success with a twitching eye of jealousy, after the significant failure of "Where The Bloody Hell Are Ya."

Anyway - a picturesque scene, I can't help thinking it would be better if the Rule of Thirds was used here, higher (or lower) placement of the far waterline (and perhaps levelling it, too) and maybe some detail duty, like cloning out the Sky TV aerial upper left, and the half-shrub bottom right?

Must've been a great holiday. :)

Hi Alaettin,
Beautiful landscape with pure and fresh colors, indeed. You give me the taste of Summer with this photo!
Love the sky with its white clouds and the serene mood of the scene. Just a little distorsion on the cabin, but this is minor! Bravo! Annie

mmm, what a gorgeous lazy feel !
Thanks !!!

Another photo proving you are a master of composition Alaettin. Very natural colours and the PL filter has assisted in adding just the right amount of contrast. Very well done and thanks for the inspiration. Dan
