Impressive shot, Michael !!!
It must be difficult to take this in good conditions for your camera.
More information in your note would be helpful.

aww... what a wave!! really impressive. I wish I was near it and got wet lol .well ... I love it .
really thanks for sharing .
nice shot , very well done.

furious shot!

Beautiful movement, the water still in the air looks so violent, but the water on the ground so smooth.. the colors are also very nice. Very good work, Michael!

Hi Michael,
Nice to hear that you were there with Contiki!! :)
I did the same on the north island in 2002! :)

btw.. nice pic of the geyser!! :) Is it the Pohutu??

Well Capture.

Great timing - great picture.

Capta la naturaleza y su fuerza perfecta

Wow, this is absolutely great!
Wonderful moment.
Great shot.
Andrea :)

Very good capture Michael. These Geysers have always amazed me. Wish to see one live one day. May will try in my Honey Moon hehehe...

The monochromatic effect this shot has is very effective. Plus that white splash is obviously well prominent since everythig around it is dark. Although the steam and splash seem to be a little bit overexposed you still managed to captured enough detail.

Opera D'Art...

Hi Michael. Good composition of this NZ wonder. Good clarity and colours. Inclusion of the foreground works well. TFS. Murray.

Hello Michael,

Great shot. Timing is quite essential in cases like this.
