Hi Hans,
Very impressive first two shots from New Zeland. This one has fantastic colours and beautiful landscape behind. The clouds on the sky are exposed well, too. Keep it up, looking foreward to seeing more! :) Have a nice trip!

How I envy you ... N.Z. is certainly a place I would love to visit.
What a wonderful shot!
A great textural f/g to lead the eyes rapidly towards the water, the amber coloured horizon with its silhouetted hills and then the textured sky which, curiously, matches the f/g.

Beautiful sunrise Hans and very well captured.. Interesting how even though the horizon bisects the middle the whole composition is well layered into classic 'thirds'.

Hello Hans,a beautiful sunrise scene with a variety of bands of different textures and colours.
You were very lucky to be able to capture this scene.What a coincidence that 'Jackal' shot it too.

I wish I could see beautiful sunrises like this every day. The problem is that they are just too early for me!!!
What a lovely scene and the colours are so vibrant.
I do like the patterns in the sand made by the water receding.
And what a shame Jack / Jackal hadn't stopped at Murrays Bay this morning, as he took his photo only 3 kms away.

Hi Hans,

This photo really sends the feeling that I need to see a sunrise over the beach every morning. The feeling from the photo itself is "awestruck" by the beauty. I can only imagine being there enjoying the scene. The gold tones are beautiful as are the layers of colors. Yes the horizon isn't perfectly level, but you can just blame it on "jet lag" :) Lisa

Hoi Hans,
Verdomme, das echt een mooie zonsondergang. Als dit je eerst foto is, dan kan ik niet wachten tot wat er komen gaat. Ik wist dat Janice op een mooi plekje woont, maar dat het er zo mooi is....
De kleuren zijn wonderschoon. Je composition met de bijzondere vormen in het natte zand is super en het laagje donkere wolken maakt het geheel af.
Groeten en nog erg veel plezier uit een grijs Nederland.
