The Devil's throat

A view of the Iguassu's largest fall called: "The Devil's throat". A deafening raor when you are close by. Impressive awesome view which I tried to catch.

Not much PP work, adjusting levels and curves a bit.

Impressive POV, great light, very sharp and the contrast really brings the detail out well..
Another nice landscape here Hans...

Hello Hans!
Great detail of the beautiful waterfall!
Great colours!
Good perspective!
Best regards!

wow! and more wow. i love this posting hans. the force of the waterfall is emphasized. no complains here, just admiration. regards

Hello Hans
Looks like the Niagara Falls, but not the same.
Strong STRONG place !!!
Amazing photo, the excellent 1/3 rules of third.
Beautiful composition, very good details in the water.
Fantastic landscape.

Strong and striking subject.
Your composition is very clever leaving a narrow space for the background on top.
The horizontal shot shows part of these wide falls and I guess it´s more appropriate than a vertical one due to the huge mist coming from below.
Well done not showing foreground artificial elements such a bridge, safety handrails or people with cameras ;)

Hi Hans

An impressive cataract & Falls for sure, & shot from a superb high vantage point. Lucky you didn't get your lens wet from the spray! Tfs!

Hey neighbor!
Wow, you can just see the power in that waterfall. Must have been an awesome sight .. I can almost hear the roar!
Very nicely composed, and nice detail in the tumbling water.
Nice job Hans

Hi Hans,
What a vigorous action shot! What strength these waterfalls show! I can hear the roaring of the water, anyhow they're called 'The Devil's Throat'.
Fabulous color saturation and adequate POV.
Very impressive indeed.
Well done

What a great and spectacular view Hans!
I love the way you cut in this image and falls look way much more impressive than our Niagara... another advantage is the fact these are very natural in wild - Niagara look terrible around with all these civilization crap and buildings - just flea market with main attraction...
Congrats for this work - Tom:)

Wow impresiv photos, great light colors and details.
Regards Zoran

Prachtige en heel indrukwekkende plaat, Hans!
Wat moet dit een majestueus schouwspel zijn en wat een geraas....!!
Werkelijk schitterend!

Amazing capture Hans! I can almost hear the thundering noise of these falls, what a spectacular view.

Despite the very wide aperture the depth of field is wide and the sharpness is exquisite. Perfect placement of horizon.

Terrific shot

Hoi Hans,

Dit is ook zo'n mooie! Wat een machtig gezicht!
Ook deze heb je mooi genomen. De rust van het niet-bewegende en rustige landschap erboven en dan het altijd-bewegende en machtige water eronder!!

Great shot! I've been there last year, there aren't so much water like I can see now!

Beautiful Photo,dynamic

Ciao Francesco

Incredible power displayed accentuated by the calm waters and line of trees we can see in the distance. TFS
