[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The outcrops of Quetena Chico, a small village (few hundred people) in the vast emptiness of southwest Bolivia. The town offers splendid views of the Uturuncu volcano - with 6008m altitude the highest peak in the area. Easily accessible and one of the 'easiest' volcano climbs in Bolivia. On top it offers great expansive views where you can overview the whole southwest in a 360 panorama. Unfortunately I didn't climb it since I was ill the morning we wanted to start climbing. But the stories that came back with others that did are marvellous.

another great photo. congratulations

Hi Joris,
Fantastically composed shot, all the elements in this photo are great - from the dry textured FG, to the hilltops and blue sky in the distance. the frame was a sensible choice too. Nice work.

Hi Joris,
A very sharp landscape capture with a good POV!
The mountains at the background are indicating a very good DOF!
Great lighting and very good control of exposure.
A nice composition, presented well in a neat frame.
Well done,

Francis Xavier

Hi Joris

Well composed using the rule of thirds, with adequate sharpness, fantastic colour contrasts & superb framing. The fg building with the thatched roof makes a good focal point. Have a nice weekend!

dear Joris,
this looks quite like another world in an illustrated book.
each mountain, hill, house and rock shows different presence in one earth.
so this feeling is mysterious and surrealistic to my eyes, and my soul.
maybe even the air includes another composites...
thank you for your excellent picture,

Nice landscape, well composed... What great scenery for a photographer..
